Because of the high stressors of the job, Correctional Officers statistically have a lower life expectancy than other professionals. This Quality of Life Training, combined with SAMHSA’s 8 Dimensions of Wellness, focuses on ways to recognize their life’s strengths, and things they can work on. It will also teach them to help their fellow correctional officer to lead a better quality of life.
