Presenters Agreement
Please read the following carefully. Once you have read it in its entirety, you will be asked to sign your name. By signing your name, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand all of the conditions. You will receive an email confirmation once you have submitted the form.
  1. I understand that all presenters must register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fee.
  2. I understand that my presentation may be scheduled on either day of the conference. The committee will make every effort to accommodate requests for presentation times; however, it is under no obligation to honor these requests.
  3. I assure that the content of the accepted proposal will be presented through an equitable lens, and I will make conscious efforts to address diversity, equity, and inclusion as it pertains to social-emotional-behavioral wellness to prevent suicide on college campuses.
  4. To the best of my knowledge, my presentation does not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including copyright, trademark, and privacy rights), is factually accurate, and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful. I have the full authority to enter into this agreement and have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any individuals or organizations whose material is included or used in my presentation.
  5. I agree to present the content as outlined in my submission and will notify the conference coordinator with any changes to presentations for approval. I will notify the conference coordinator immediately if an emergency should prevent me from meeting my obligation as a presenter.
  6. I agree to comply with all requirements of the virtual aspect of the conference, even if I plan to present in person, including, but not limited to, providing a prerecording on the presentation, in the event that an emergency prohibits me from attending.
  7. I agree to comply with all program-related deadlines provided to me by Prevent Suicide PA (PSPA).
  8. During my presentation, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or service.
  9. I will be responsible for all expenses that I incur. I understand that I will not receive royalties, honoraria, reimbursement of expenses, or other compensation from HESPC in connection with the program or the rights granted above.
  10. I authorize PSPA to use my name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data in connection with the use and promotion of the program.
    If I would like any materials made available to conference attendees, they will be uploaded to a designated portal prior to the conference. I agree to have them in by the required deadline.

  • License for Content Archiving/Capture

    PSPA needs to know if you are willing to have your presentation recorded for archiving purposes and made available on the conference website through the end of 2022. This applies to in-person and virtual presentations. PSPA will not use the content for any use beyond its intended purpose for the Annual Conference. However, we may request permission to post your presentation on our free public online learning site, provided the content remains relevant. Response to this question will NOT affect acceptance of the presentation. Please read the statement below and indicate your response. Speaker grants to PSPA a non-exclusive license to use Speaker’s presentation and handout materials (collectively “Speaker Property”) in any manner PSPA deems appropriate including, but not limited to, the reproduction, distribution, creation of derivative works, and display on the internet of Speaker Property, with PSPA retaining the proceeds derived from such distribution and use of Speaker Property. Speaker also agrees to collaborate directly with the company performing these services for PSPA and follow all deadlines to provide PowerPoint presentations and handouts that may be associated for content archiving. Other than to archive your presentation on the conference website for attendees only to review when the conference ends, PSPA will not post your presentation on any other website without your written consent. PSPA will not use your materials in any way to generate revenue. *
