Events

Purpose:  Engage (or re-engage) individuals and groups with an interest in supporting the Mission of Prevent Suicide PA; Supporting those who are Affected by Suicide, Providing Education, Awareness, and understanding, by Collaborating with the Community to Prevent Suicide and Reduce the Stigma associated with Suicide.  Our plan is to discuss projects and activities that could have an impact on reducing the incidence of suicide attempts/deaths, as well as negative outcomes following suicide attempts/deaths that occur for those who attempt, Loss Survivors, and the community.

Goals:  Share ideas that result in actionable plans with the commitment of members to assist with carrying out the plans; work toward goals of statewide suicide prevention plan; develop policy agenda items

Who should attend:

1. County Suicide Task Force members interested in broader statewide policy issues
2. Former Adult/Older Adult Suicide Prevention Coalition members
3. Former PAYSPI (PA Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative) Advisory members
4. Appropriate state agency personnel
5. Attempt/Loss survivors
6. College Personnel involved in Suicide Prevention
7. Military Personnel involved in Suicide Prevention
8. LGBTQ organization personnel involved in Suicide Prevention

5. Higher Education
6. Gun Shop Project/Natural Listener Project

Conference line will be available for the morning session but in person attendance is preferred.
